When my life is over and my legacy written, I don’t want to be  someone who was almost what God called me to be.  Likewise, I have the desire for Norris First Baptist Church to be all that God has called us to be!  God had  called His People to greatness!  Not greatness as defined by society’s view: fame, fortune, etc., but God’s Brand of Greatness:  Living in our Master’s Will  in His Kingdom Work!

Jesus said of Himself, “The Spirit of  the Lord is  upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the  poor; he hath  sent me  to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the  captives, and  the recovering of sight to the blind; to set at liberty them that  are bruised,  to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19).   Folks, Jesus passed  His Legacy and Work on to us, His people.  Our God is doing  amazing things in  and through the people of NFBC!  I can hardly wait to see  what God’s going to do  next as we work together to spread the Good News of  Salvation and Abundant Life  found in our Savior Jesus Christ!
